Paddleboarding Fun!

So today I tried a new activity, paddle boarding. I always thought that it looked hard. Well I would say it looks harder than what it is, unless I just picked up on it quickly. It is a great core work out.

After figuring out which way to paddle and where exactly to put my hands on the paddle it went well. The deeper you put the paddle into the water, the faster you will go. Also, you can pick up speed if you bend your knees and get down lower on the board. In addition, to a great core work out, it's great for your arms as well with all the paddling you do.

The paddle boarding took place where the boats dock. So it was tough at times keeping your balance while the boats would pass and create waves. Luckily I did not fall once. Good thing it was a calm day, because I don't think it would be as easy had there been wind. I even saw a huge tuna on the dock that a fisherman just caught.

Have you ever paddle boarded? If so how did it go?

    1. I thought it would be harder too. The most challenging part was trying to stay balanced through the waves! You should try it!

  5. I saw so many people paddleboarding while I was on vacation this summer. I didn't realize how much of a trend it was until I saw a bunch of bloggers posting about it too! Glad you tried it - I would love to at some point... but I only have a river close to me and I really don't want to try on that!
