Today we were docking at Nassau.
We did not plan to get off the ship today so we just took our time waking up and getting around for the day.
We did go up to Cabanas to grab some breakfast.
We sat outside on the deck as we ate so we could take in the views and watch all the other cruise ships pull in.
After breakfast we walked around on the upper deck and really just enjoyed "watching" the views. When we went back inside we decided to explore some of the ship we did not get to see yesterday.
As we were walking past the Kid's Club, we were told there was an open house going on and that we could go in and look around. We did not have any reason to check out the Kid's Club when we were on the Disney Wish but everyone raves about how great they are. We popped into this Kids club for a few minutes just to see what it was all about.
We also checked out the Buena Vista Theater, where they play first run movies. During our cruise "Freakier Friday" and the new Live Action "Lilo & Stitch" were among the movies that would be playing.
I sort of wanted to see the new "Lilo & Stitch" movie, but I also knew I could watch it at home on Disney Plus, so I didn't want to use precious cruise time watching a movie.
I knew I would be much happier sitting outside on the deck doing nothing!
Since it was a port day, there weren't a lot of people out on the decks, so we took that time to take some fun photos and record some videos.
When it was time for lunch, we wanted to do something different from Cabanas. We were looking for a stand that would be similar to Donald's Cantina on the Disney Wish. This is the place that had the amazing taco bowls.
There is no Donald's Cantina on the Magic, but there is Daisy's De-lites. This had bowls, but not taco bowls. They were more like salad bowls. SO, we went back to Cabanas to see what they had for lunch.

After lunch, we went to the pool area. There are two water slides on this ship and we decided we would try both of them.
The Aqua dunk is the highest water slide on the ship. It is three stories high and moves at a rapid speed. As you enter, you are in a capsule and the floor drops out and you are dropped into a tube that launches you out over the ship and down to the end of the slide. It seemed very thrilling. While my sister and I were waiting in line, there were a mix of adults and children waiting as well. some of the children had rode before and were trying to convince their friend to ride. in the end, the friend decided that he didn't want to ride, so he called back down the steps to wait for his friends on the lower deck. As I watched each rider scream as they got dropped into the tube, I started to change my mind about riding it as well. My sister Lacey decided that she would ride first, and when she finished, she would give me a hand gesture to let me know if I Should ride it. My sister knows me very well and I trust her to give good judgement on whether or not she thinks I would enjoy this. A thumbs up from here would indicate that it was fun and that I should try it. Twisting her hand from side to side would mean that it was only okay and that I should maybe make my own decision on whether or not to ride.
When my sister exited the slide, she looked up to me and violently waved her hands in an x pattern and she mouthed the word "NO". That's all I needed to see before making my way back down the steps to meet her on the lower deck.
When we met up on the lower deck, she admitted to me that she did NOT enjoy that ride and that she knew I wouldn't either.
We both got in line for the 2nd water slide, the "Twist and Spout", which was more mild and we both enjoyed that.
After all the excitement of the water slides, we planned to go to the adults only area and spend some time in the pool. When we got in the adult pool, we realized it was deeper than we would like. The pool was 5 ft deep and the both of us are only 5ft 2in. We decided to sit in the whirlpool instead. While there, we met a really nice lady our age and had some good conversation, she then introduced us to her mom and we all sat and talked for almost an hour.
At this time, we had to excuse ourselves to go get ready for dinner. We had early dinner at 5:45pm.
I had already had my bag with my shower supplies in it, so I went to the ladies locker room in the spa to shower so Lacey could use the shower back in our state room. This would allow us both to get ready at the same time. This was a great time saver! The spa here had 2 showers and then the vanity had hair dryers for you to use. I had forgot my comb so a spa cast member brought me one.
Dinner tonight was in Rapunzel's Dining room. This dining room is so perfectly themed. It is full of song, dance, and storybook characters. The food was of course good too! More about this restaurant to come in a separate post!
After dinner we went back to our state room for a bit to enjoy our balcony and watch the sunset.
The main stage show tonight was "Tangled the Musical". This was perfect for us since we were in the Tangled dining room. NOTE: Not everyone will be in the Tangled dining room this night. It just depends on your dining rotation. However, everyone will see the Tangled stage show ( if they choose to go to the show).
After the show, we happened to see Daisy Duck in her sailor outfit. We decided to stop and get some photos. Before and after dinners and the main stage shows is when a lot of the characters seems to be out for photos. They are usually out on decks 3, 4, and 5 and exact times are always listed in the Navigator app.
After photos, we met up with some friends at Fathoms Lounge. This seemed to be where all the late night games took place. The games this night were "Majority Minds" and "Match Your Mate".
After the games, we went next door to O'Gills Pub. This pub has a small buffet of late night snacks from 10:45 pm-11:45 pm. They are hand held things like chicken wings, jalapeno poppers, veggies and dip, etc. A lot of the food was picked over by the time we got there so we headed to deck 9 to Pinocchio's Pizza.
We each grabbed a slice of pizza and it was quite good. Pinocchio's is open till midnight.
By this time it was midnight, so we grabbed some drinks at the beverage station ( fountain drinks) to take back to our room with us. I really enjoyed the vitamin water they had!
We headed back to the room and called it a night!
Till next time! M and L
