My day at Epcot Food and Wine Festival and everything I ate

I wasn't sure if I'd get to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival this year, but as luck would have it, I got a long layover here and it fit perfectly in my schedule.

I grabbed a passport and made my goal for the day to eat at some new booths this year. I always find myself going back to my favorites ( like the Fry Basket and Northern Bloom), so I avoided those this year..lol.

If I could get in line for a few attractions, maybe see a character, and listen to some live music, that would be a plus to my day.

Let's see how it went.

The first booth I stopped at was Forest and Field.

Here I got the Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, Pecorino Cheese, Pomegranate Seeds, and Hazelnut Praline($5.50) and a glass of Pino Noir($6.50) A perfect fall combination. I wish this was a bigger portion because it was very tasty. You can find this at Forest & Field.

Next booth was Milled and Mulled.

I got the Butternut Squash and Ginger Bisque with Cinnamon Cream, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, and Pumpkin Seed Oil for $5.50 at Milled &Mulled. I was keeping up with the fall theme, and it did not disappoint.

Bramblewood Bites was another new to me booth this year.

Here I got the Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Root Vegetables with Dried Cranberries, Spiced Pumpkin Seeds, and Pumpkin Seed Vinaigrette for $5.00. This was a generous portion and tastier than it looks. You can find this at Bramblewood Bites.

There was a new booth at the festival this year called Gyozas of the Galaxy. This is near the Creations shop.

I decided to check this out new booth so I got the Buffalo style Dumplings. These were chicken dumplings with Buffalo sauce, celery root puree, blue cheese cream, crumbled blue cheese, shaved carrot, and micro celery.  This dish was $6.00

My next stop was in Italy, but truthful, I should have passed on this one.

I got the Bacetti 'Kisses' di Pizza, Traditional Napoli Street Food: Pizza Dough, Pepperoni, Mozzarella, and Tomato Sauce. The picture looks better than how it tasted. This was pretty hard and not very good. I would not recommend it. However, I did eat it all for $8.75.

I figured I couldn't go wrong at Flavors of America so I picked up something here as well.

I got the Gulf Coast Style Seafood Roll with Warm-Water Lobster, Rock Shrimp, Lobster Bisque, and Sherry -Creme Fraiche on a Toasted Brioche Bun. I saved the best for last (not intentionally) this was delicious. Much better than the pizza roll I tried for the same price for $8.75.

While I was tasting my way around Epcot, I did squeeze in a few attractions. Soarin was only a 25 minute way, so I jumped in line for that. I got in the single rider line for the new Test Track, and even rode Guardians without too much of an extended wait.

One new thing I did do was watch the Pixar and Disney short film festival near the Imagination building.

I also stopped at the Disney Visa card member photo spot to see which characters were there.

I was surprised to see both Mickey and Pluto. It doesn't get more Disney than this!

After all my tasty treats, I finished the evening by watching the band Element Perform at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

And that was my day at this year's Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.

Till next time ~L
