All the other food on the Disney Wish

Dining is a huge part of any Disney Cruise. You may already know that DCL offers rotational dining, where you rotate between themed dinning rooms throughout your cruise.  We are always wanting to check out those menus ahead of time.  Those menus are pretty easy to find online and it's fun to look at pictures of the food and read about what people ordered.   However, we thought we would share with you all the other food we got on the Disney Wish, that did not come from the formal dinning rooms!

I did not intend on writing this particular post, so I'm impressed that I took as many food pictures as I did.

When we first boarded the ship, we headed to Marceline Market, which is the all you care to enjoy buffet. This was a great time to try something I've never had before. Prior to sailing on the Wish, I watched some reviews from my favorite YouTuberes and they just raved about the lamb. I've never had lamb before so I thought this was the perfect time to try it because if I didn't like it, I could get something else.

It turns out I really did not like lamb. I even tried it with the mint jelly. Nope, not for me, so I was on to plate number 2.

This plate was more of the food I know I liked, so I was very pleased with this one.

There were a lot of options for dessert, but I chose this chocolate mousse cup with the Mickey anchor chocolate piece. I thought this was the perfect treat for the first day of our sailing. I did notice they had this same chocolate mousse cup on other days as well.

Daisy's pizza Pies

For dinner, we had early dinning (5:45pm) at 1923. We wrote an entire post about that and you can read that HERE. But later that night we were exploring the ship and came upon Daisy's Pizza Pies, so of course we had to try a slice.

Daisy's Pizza Pies

We shared this plate of pizza and it actually wasn't bad for a late night snack

DAY 2

Breakfast this day was in Marceline Market. I got bacon, breakfast potatoes, and some egg fried rice that I really enjoyed.

They also had a yogurt parfait bar and a smoothie bar. There were two flavors of smoothies and I tried them both.

Today was Nassau day, but we stayed on the ship. We checked out Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods on deck 12.  There are a variety of grab n go stations here. There is Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue, Daisy's Pizza Pies, Donald's Cantina, Goofy's Grill, and Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream.

Donald's Cantina, Festival of Foods

We both chose to get a taco bowl from Donald's Cantina. This was simply amazing! A cast member fills a bowl for you with all the fillings you want. You can also have your fillings in a taco or burrito.

Dinning for this location is all outside on the deck but you can find some covered spots.

Later that afternoon, we went back up to Marceline Market for coffee and dessert.  I got a tart and this mango pudding dessert.

I really wasn't pleased with either of these. Lacey wasn't pleased with her dessert either, a sticky bread pudding, so we decided to go downstairs to Tiana's Bayou to get a beignet.

It turns out that when we got to Tiana's Bayou, it was closed for a private event.
We didn't eat again until our meal in the Marvel dining room later that evening. You can read all about our  Marvel dining experience  HERE.

Day 3

The next day's breakfast was a repeat from the day before. We ate at Marceline Market again. I added a Mickey waffle to my plate this time.

Lunch on Castaway cay
Today was Castaway Cay day, so we had lunch on the island. This is your typical picnic food.

Secret drink at Tiana's Bayou
When we got back on the ship, we had our formal dinner in Arendelle, which has a Frozen theme. You can read all about that dinning experience HERE

After dinner, we finally made it to Tiana's Bayou and got a drink that is on the secret menu!  You can read more about Tiana's Bayou and the secret menu HERE.

Free Premium Mickey ice cream bars

For our last night, we had room service deliver us some Mickey bars!

Day 4

We stayed on board long enough to have breakfast.  Which ever dinning room you were in for your last dinner, is where you will go for breakfast on the day of departure if you should choose to stay for breakfast.

We were back in Arendelle
This will be a sit down meal and you will order from the menu.

We both got this Southern Hash with an egg any way we'd Ike it.
We also got a side of waffles with this strawberry cream.

And that was it for our food on the Disney Wish. Our next meal and snack would be at Disney World. We did a post on the chocolate covered bacon we tried. You can read about that HERE
