World of Marvel on the Disney Wish

Our second dining rotation on the Disney Wish was the  World of Marvel dining room. I will admit I am not a Marvel fan and I was least excited about this dining rotation. Let's check it out.

The first impression here, was that the restaurant was a little darker than the one we were in the night before. You can read about that dinner HERE.  This dinning room felt a little "tight", meaning the tables seemed closer together and there were no windows, so we lacked any natural light.  The interior of this restaurant felt like one of those modern Cineplex movie theaters, but then again I am not a Marvel fan so any theming there was may have been lost on me.

There were movie screens throughout the dinning room and our table was up against one of them. They showed a short clip of a "film" they created with one of the super heroes being on the Disney Cruise. It was cute, but I wasn't really entertained because Marvel is not my thing.

We were seated with the same guests we were seated with at our dinner the night before. We also had the same wait staff.
I was impressed with the table setting. This was the first night I realized that each restaurant had its own unique dinner plates.

Here is what we ordered this night.  It may look like a lot of food, but my sister and I shared it.
I did not understand the significance of the infinity stone popcorn.

I ordered the Mystic Pasta with Scallops for my entree and my first impression was that it was a very small serving. However, looks are deceiving and it ended up being plenty! Although there wasn't anything in the appetizers, soups, or salads that really stood out as great, my pasta and scallops was really good and I'm glad I ordered it.

The dessert selection at this meal were my least favorite. I ordered only the Key Lime pie and it was good.

Spiderman on Disney Wish Cruise Ship

During the dessert portion of the meal, we had a visit from Spiderman. This made all the little kids very happy ( and maybe some of the adults too).

Overall, I'm glad this restaurant is available for those who may not enjoy the other typical Disney themes  and I am glad we chose to go to this dining rotation. I will also admit that it was my least favorite of the three dining experiences in the rotation.  I just did not care for the ambiance.

See you at the next restaurant on the Disney Wish! ~ M
