Goods Food to Go at Disney's Old Key West Resort

We recently stayed at Disney's Old Key West resort and our first order of business was getting food from their quick service location, Goods Food to Go..

Goods Food to Go is the only true "quick service" location at this resort, ( besides the pool side snack shack, Turtle Shack Pool Side Snacks). Unlike other quick service locations at Disney resorts, this is basically just a walk up counter. It is not a food court. The options are limited, but there is a good variety.

Quick Service at Old Key West

The one item on our "must get" list was the famous Key lime Dole Whip.  Oh my gosh, this is so good. This needs it's own post as a " Disney Food Feature".

Okay, after eating the important stuff, we ordered some real food.

Some options at Goods Food to Go were burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and wraps, two different salads, and basic kids meals you will find at most other quick service locations. Goods also sells Joffrey's coffee, and a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic specialty drinks. You can see a complete menu HERE.

I decided on the tuna salad sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and  pickles on multi grain bread served with house made chips.

I laughed when I opened up the container, because I didn't realize I had to assemble the sandwich myself! But those chips were amazing! I'm an East Coast girl and I love Chesapeake Bay/Chesapeake Crab flavored potato chips and these tasted a lot like that.  After assembling the sandwich, it was actually really tasty. It was quite refreshing.

Lacey got the Power Salad which consisted of mixed greens, edamame, garbanzo beans, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, and quinoa with a key lime mustard vinaigrette.  It too was a good choice for a hot day.

Like I mentioned earlier, this is just a counter, not a food court, so there is no indoor seating. I guess that's why it's called Goods Food to Go , you need to take your food to go!  However, there is plenty of seating in this area. There are long picnic tables that can easily be shared and then there are a few high top tables.  You can catch a glimpse of this area in the the above photo. Most tables have umbrellas for shade. It's a nice place to sit with your food and / or a beverage and just watch what is going on!

At the time of this post, the tuna sandwich meal was $9.99 and the Power Salad was $13.29.

Goods Food to Go also has a good variety of breakfast items . Summer hours here are posted as 7:00 am to 10:00pm . However, I have stayed at Old Key West before in the off season and this place was not open. You may want to double check the hours during your visit.

Till next time~ M and L
