Happy new month! How is it March already? Grab a cup of coffee and let's catch up!
If we were having coffee I'd tell you that we've had a very mild winter so far. We've been having some Spring like temperature in February and hope that it continues through March. However, I heard that we may get a wintery mix this weekend. I hope it doesn't turn into much.
If we were having coffee I'd have to tell you about the fun things we did in February. We had a great time visiting the Festival of the Arts at Epcot.
I might tell you that Festival of the Arts just might be my favorite festival of all. However, it is the shortest festival of the year and it's not during an ideal time for us to travel. I'm not sure if we will be able to make it back during this time next year, but we'll see!
If we were having coffee I would of course have to tell you about the Disney Cruise we went on. This was just amazing and I can't stop talking about it. I'm glad Disney cruises sail all year long because this is something we will definitely be doing again. If you are interested, check out my blog post of Day One on the Disney Wish
If we were having coffee I would tell you that we both ran our first "race" of the year. It was the Castaway Cay 5K that we did while on the cruise. I'll do a post on that later.
What we are looking forward to
If we were having coffee I'd tell you that this month the Disney 50th anniversary celebrations will be ending at Disney World and the 100th anniversary of the Disney company will be celebrated. Seems like Disney is always celebrating something! We will be visiting the 100 years of Disney exhibit this month so I am looking forward to that.
What we are watching
If we were having coffee I'd tell you that we've been watching "Poker Face" on Peacock. The series was created by the creator of "The Glass Onion" so it is a murder mystery series but it's different each episode.
Another thing we enjoyed last month was "The Making of the Wish" about how the Disney cruise ship was made. This was perfect timing as it premiered the week after we got off the Wish.
What I'm worried about
I've been very worried about my 92 year old nana. I don't need to say more. I'll just keep praying.
How did your February go? What are you looking forward to in March? How's your weather? -M
We will be linking up with our friend Rebecca Jo.
We will be linking up with our friends from Coffee Talk
You have gone all in with Disney! I'm enjoying following your adventures. It's sure hard to see our parents and grandparents age, isn't it? I though my parents were ageless until the past couple of years. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteYes, it's hard watching loved ones age!
DeleteI love how much you both love Disney! Looks like you are having fun traveling. I tried to get into Poker Face but kind of lost interest after episode 2.
ReplyDeletePrayers for your nana. Whatever it is, I hope she recovers or gets better. It is hard, for sure.
ReplyDeleteWe are most likely going to have quite a bit of snow by tomorrow. Glad my husband (the snow blower operator) is home. I still have to shovel some too, no matter how much it snows!
Hope you guys stay safe up there!
DeleteYou've been having fun lately! If you were at Epcot you know our weather has been very warm, for the most part, this "winter." I'd like it a little cooler, but it is what it is.
ReplyDeleteSending positive thoughts for Nana. I know, it's hard.
You had a fun February! I'm looking forward to a family trip to Charleston later this month. :-)
ReplyDeleteSending positive thoughts and prayers for your Nana.
Thank you. Charleston sounds lovely!
DeleteFebruary sounded great for you. Sending good thoughts to your family.
ReplyDeletePrayers for your nana! Sounds like you've both enjoyed some fun travels. My daughter just returned from performing at Disney. She had so much fun.
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds wonderful. How fun for her that she got to perform there!
DeleteI'm glad you guys had a fun time! I said I wouldn't cruise again, but a Disney cruise definitely sounds tempting!
ReplyDeleteThinking of your Nana.
Praying for your Nana too!!! Its so hard to see family we love get all those years under their belt.
ReplyDeleteDisney sure is celebrating something... but shouldnt we all? :)
I love they celebrated turning 50 when I did... they opened the same year I was born... as did Starbucks. It was written in the stars for me! LOL
Sorry to hear about your nana. I hope she gets well soon. So much fun Disney adventures!! Glad you are having fun.
