We haven't got to the point where we are decorating our trees with our Disney medals like the one shown on We Run Disney, but we do certainly like to bring the Disney decorations out for the holiday. Here are a few of our favorites.
Top: A votive holder my sister bought me from Disneyland Paris It says "Joyeux Noel". Because this matches my everyday décor, I may have been known to keep this out a little longer than just the holidays!
The Disney Princess Village: Each of the cottages/Castles lights up. We also have the Disney Main Street version of this as well, but it seems we are running out of places to put it. Does that ever happen to you?
Bottom: I don't collect Snow Globes, in fact these are the only two that I have. Both of these were gifts from my sister as well. The large one lights up and also plays music when wound up.
I love this Disney Card holder. I only use it to hold Christmas cards, but now that I think of it, It should get it out for our birthdays too!
Top: Can you tell that is a Mickey shaped wreath? This thing has been around for quite a while. I have lost/broken a few of the glass mickey head ornaments and each year I have to glue some of the pinecones back on, but it is still a favorite. This came from Disneyshopping.com.
This ornament came from The Christmas Shop in DTD. I believe we got this the year we got married. We had this big idea that we would buy an ornament together each year. That idea only lasted a few years!
Bottom: Gotta Love the Duffy bear stocking. It puts all our other stockings to shame, so it is the only one we hang up. It usually gets filled with dog treats!
I absolutely love this Carriage. It represents the Cinderella carriage that we rode in during our wedding. This was an anniversary gift from my husband. It is actually meant to have a candle inside of it. I do leave this out all year long!
And of course our Christmas Trees
And a few of our favorite ornament!
1. A mickey head from WDW, There are jingle bells inside of this.
2. Our Labrador Reed ( you didn't think I wouldn't actually have Labrador ornaments on my tree did you?)
3. A silver mickey head with a jingle ball inside ( I think this also came from the Christmas shop at DTD)
4. My favorite: I think this may have been a gift from my husband. Is it horrible that I don't remember?
5. My girl Baylee
6. This is a Jim Shore Labrador. I just love his work and have several of his pieces around the house. This actually came from my Secret Santa at my school a few years ago.
7. An ornament from the Disney Wedding pavilion ( Where we got married).
8. Willow Tree ornament of a girl holding a dog. I know for sure that my husband DID buy me this one!

ReplyDeleteYour Christmas trees are beautiful! I love all the Disney themed decorations! We visited DL Paris in the summer a long time ago and I do not remember any Christmas items for sale. I love the votive holder...so cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Yea, that votive holder from Paris was also bought during the Summer. I will have to ask her what shop it was from!
DeleteThe ornaments with the pics of your dogs are so cute :) I have similar ones of my cats!
ReplyDeleteGotta include your pets, right?
DeleteYou gals have included so many winners here! I think my favorite is the Disney Princess Village; I NEED ONE. I can see why you might grant it year-round status! Here's my share- thanks for the offer! (Please come back and do the same on my blog :D). http://www.distherapy.com/2013/12/disney-floral-gifts-creates-christmas.html
ReplyDeleteThank you! I wish we had more room to set up the rest of the village!
DeleteBeautiful decor and I love your trees!! Jim Shore makes the best ornaments/figurines - your labrador one is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren. I also have some other Jim Shore dogs that aren't Christmassy that I keep out all year long!
DeleteLOVE the trees! They look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Courtney. I love my Pink tree, but we also had so many gold ornaments that I couldn't leave them just sit in a box, so why not put up 2 trees!
DeleteSo pretty! I love your ornaments!
ReplyDeleteMy decorating is simple but I love it. We still have a small tree up on a table so my 11 month old doesn't mess with (or chew) everything on the tree. LOL :)

Thanks Linda. this is pretty simple decorating for me. We use to put up a HUGE tree, but it just got to be too much, 2 doing 2 smaller ones is much easier.
DeletePutting the tree on a table is a good idea with a little one around!
I LOVE that disney Princess village!! These decorations are SO fun! I'm going to Disney World on Tuesday, so hopefully I can find a Christmas/winter decoration that's Disney theme to add to my decorations :D
ReplyDeleteDon't you worry Rachel, you will surely find LOTS of Disney Christmas décor while you are there. Have fun!
DeleteThis post makes my heart smile! Disney Christmas decor is my favorite! I'm not sure I could name a favorite piece, but most of our decor is decidedly Disney during the holidays! Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures!
