We ~Heart~
the East Coast
When we were
younger we dreamed of living in far away places like California. When you grow up on the East Coast, California is considered a
“far away" place. Afterall, who wouldn't want to visit Hollywood? I
guess it’s not until you get older that you really appreciate the place that
you’re planted. ( And realize that you can easily go to California just to "visit")
With that
said, we love living on the East Coast! Yes, I will agree that sometimes the
winters can get cold, but in return the summers get very hot! ( I think it hit 95 degrees today)
Baylee all bundle up |
Meranda and Lacey at the Beach |
We love
being “centrally” located in the Mid-Atlantic. We have easy access to Beaches (
yup, we’ve run a few races here), NYC ( We love going into the city for the day
and seeing shows or just sightseeing), or even visiting the Nation’s Capitol (
can you say awesome 4th of July fireworks, of course!) Even getting to Disney is less than 2 hours by plane!

I didn't know Biggest Loser had a racing series, neat!
ReplyDeleteI love the east coast. I lived in Virginia Beach for a couple years growing up and it was always just gorgeous and had great seasons!
O yes, please stay tuned! We hope to have a recap of one of the Biggest Loser races that just happened in our area!
DeleteI also live in the mid-Atlantic - thanks for the race listing! I'm all loaded up on races but am toying with signing up for a November race to continue a monthly trend...
ReplyDeleteThere are SO many races going on in the area. Glad you are loaded up for the year. Good luck!
DeleteI live between DC and Baltimore. Work in DC. Love living here! I've been here since I was born. We're running Rugged Maniac 5k on Nov. 2 and then Color Run Baltimore on Nov. 17.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a great location Melissa! Lots to do in that area.
