Merchandise from Tokyo Disneyland

My sister recently visited Tokyo Disneyland and she brought me back some unique treats that she found in the parks.  Let's check them out.

Because I do not read Japanese,  I don't quite know the exact name of all these snacks, so I am going to describe them to the best of my ability.

              Green Tea & Matcha cookies.

I love how these cookies were individually wrapped in these fun wrappers. There were probably a dozen or more cookies in the box. They tasted like a shortbread cookie with green tea matcha icing type covering on one side.  I really enjoyed these.

I was told these were the Cherry Blossom Kit Kats. Have you ever noticed that the Kit Kats are quite a big deal in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot? There are so many unique flavors that you wouldn't necessarily find at the grocery stores.

These were pink and they tasted sort of like a white chocolate Kit Kat but the wafer inside had a light sort of berry taste. These were good.
The little wrappers are so cute. I guess the actual flavor is Sakura and roasted soybean powder. Sakura is actually a flavor that is derived from a cherry blossom . It has a slightly floral taste to it.
Next up are these strawberry cookies.

Again, I like the individual wrappers with the different characters. These were not bad but they were my least favorite of the treats.
My favorite treat came in this souvenir tin.

These were strawberry and chocolate crunch treats
There were two flavors of treats in this tin, one was strawberry( pictured above) and one was chocolate.  The Strawberry one tasted like the Strawberry Shortcake Good Humor ice cream bars and the chocolate of course tasted like a chocolate flavored bar. These were my favorite of the snacks my sister brought me from Disneyland Tokyo.  These were the ones we finished off first. That may be why there were no chocolate ones left to be photographed!

I love how the  tin says Tokyo Disney Resort on one side of it. Now that it's empty I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with it!

Some other souvenirs that she bought me that are not edible include this Mickey ear holder.

This pink Japanese Minnie wearing the Kimono.  I just love this. This was the perfect souvenir to bring home from Japan.

And this sleepy Duffy has been a hug hit at my house. My retrievers Sybie and Willow like to take turns carrying it around the house!

All of these things were a surprise to me, and I am so grateful that my sister thought to buy them for me.  However, the one thing I did ask her for was a map of the Disney Parks, and can you believe there were none available? None.

So instead, she brought me back this literature in Japanese!

What was a fun souvenir you brough back from vacation?  Till next time ~ M
