Weekly Wrap....November 18

I had another pretty busy last week, staring with Vegas and ending with my birthday!

I had just finished a trip shortly before I flew out to Vegas. I arrived in Vegas Friday evening and met up with a friend for dinner and drinks while waiting for my other friend to arrive.

The following day we enjoyed brunch then picked up our race packet at the expo. After the expo we met up with another friend and her fiance for dinner and went to a comedy show.

On race day we went to brunch again to fuel up then relaxed until it was time to head to the race. (Recap to come)

The following morning we both had an early flight back to the East Coast.

After flying 5 hours on a flight I couldn't wait to get off that plane and go celebrate my birthday!

I met up with a few friends for some drinks. The next day my friend took me out to the Melting Pot!

It was a fun birthday weekend. I saw several friends I haven't seen in awhile but I am looking forward to seeing my family this coming week for Thanksgiving since I haven't been home in awhile.  Plus I am excited to open some mail I know that was sent to me (that's not bills for once).

Any exciting plans for your upcoming holiday week? L

Thank you to Holly and Wendy for letting us share our week with them.

  7. Happy Birthday! I've always wanted to try The Melting Pot. We don't have one here. But, I do have a fondue pot that I haven't used in a long time. Enjoy your trip home and visiting with the family during Thanksgiving! Thanks for linking.

  10. Have you birthday! I have been following all her races and travels on Instagram. Is running a race at night difficult? I am much more of a morning runner.

    1. Thanks! I dont think it's really any different. I guess maybe just be a little more cautious of what you eat earlier that day.

    1. Thanks Megan! It is a great restaurant but definitely for only special occasions as it is very pricey. There were a few ones that I have never heard of but they were all pretty funny.
