I had just finished a trip shortly before I flew out to Vegas. I arrived in Vegas Friday evening and met up with a friend for dinner and drinks while waiting for my other friend to arrive.
The following day we enjoyed brunch then picked up our race packet at the expo. After the expo we met up with another friend and her fiance for dinner and went to a comedy show.
On race day we went to brunch again to fuel up then relaxed until it was time to head to the race. (Recap to come)
The following morning we both had an early flight back to the East Coast.
After flying 5 hours on a flight I couldn't wait to get off that plane and go celebrate my birthday!
I met up with a few friends for some drinks. The next day my friend took me out to the Melting Pot!
It was a fun birthday weekend. I saw several friends I haven't seen in awhile but I am looking forward to seeing my family this coming week for Thanksgiving since I haven't been home in awhile. Plus I am excited to open some mail I know that was sent to me (that's not bills for once).
Any exciting plans for your upcoming holiday week? L

ReplyDeleteThanks! I always thought itd be a great idea to have one at home but I feel like I'd never use it either.
DeleteHappy birthday! At work, we're hoping we can get things wrapped up to finish early on Wednesday. That would be great to be able to start the holiday early.

DeleteHappy Birthday ;-) Vegas would be a great place to celebrate a birthday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! It was:)
DeleteHave you birthday! I have been following all her races and travels on Instagram. Is running a race at night difficult? I am much more of a morning runner.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I dont think it's really any different. I guess maybe just be a little more cautious of what you eat earlier that day.
DeleteAnd that was supposed to say happy birthday 😊
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! Any week that involves Las Vegas is a good week in my book. :)
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteHappy Birthday! It looks like you did a lot of fun things to celebrate. I never went to The Melting Pot but I hear it's really good. What comedian did you see?
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan! It is a great restaurant but definitely for only special occasions as it is very pricey. There were a few ones that I have never heard of but they were all pretty funny.
DeleteHappy Birthday Lacey! Looks like you had tons of fun celebrating!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was:)
DeleteHappy birthday! Sounds like a really fun week to celebrate your birthday :) The Melting Pot is so much fun but I always walk out of there feeling so full.
