Weekly Wrap...Nov 2

This week was another busy week. After launching the new Body Pump release 107 at our gym in the beginning of the week it was back to work.

I was really excited about my trip this week because I had a San Jose layover.  I have never had that layover. In addition, I was meeting up with a friend that lived in the area that I haven't seen in a long time.

We found a great running trail and then went out for dinner. It is always nice meeting up with friends during layovers.

We had a long day the following day which made for a short overnight in Denver but I still managed to get 4 miles in before my work day started. It was perfect running weather this day. It's crazy because a few days ago I heard it snowed there. I'm glad I missed that.

I only had one day off between my trips this week. I had a great trail run that morning before splurging on sushi that evening.

Today I am flying back to the west coast! How was your week?    -L

Thank you to Holly and Wendy for letting us share our week with them!

  1. You are definitely all over the place! I remember when I was in Denver in September it was still so warm but they said it would start snowing at the end of October. So crazy! Glad you missed the snow and got in a god run there.

  4. Impressed that your layover was so long you could fit in a run and dinner, how fun! Getting in runs on the road is challenging, so good for you for doing so :)

  6. I always love seeing your travel photos. How do you keep all the timezones straight, especially with daylight savings time?!

  7. I love how you fit runs in between flights! That's so awesome. It's great that you could meet up with your friend. I try to do that on my business trips, which aren't as frequent as yours but usually have me on the ground longer. ;-)

  8. I think your schedule would kill me!

The one time I ran in San Jose let's just say it wasn't the most enticing area. Although I did run into a crazy cat lady (taking care of ferals) and gave her some money. :)

  9. Yup, we got snow on Tuesday. Thankfully it didn't stick, and we're expecting more this coming week. The mountains have gotten a lot, so hopefully it'll be a good ski season.

  14. I can't imagine traveling so much! I feel like you are always going going going! I went to Orlando several days early to work the Wine n Dine expo and spent another 3 days there for the race. After 6 days total, I was definitely ready to head home and sleep in my own bed!
