A Peek in Our Week

Happy Monday folks! We spent a fabulous weekend in Atlantic City. We ran the April Fools race. The weather was just perfect and after the winter we've had, it felt good to be at the beach again. I usually run the April Fools race with my mom, but my sister ran it with me this year instead. This was her first time running this race.

I was pretty pleased
with my performance. Yes, I'm still feeling the injuries, so my knees were certainly not happy about me running. This is my own fault though. Of course my legs are going to be hurting when I keep running injured. Will I ever learn?

My PT had me doing some upper body and core exercises on Thursday before I left for the weekend, so of course my arms and the sides of my ribs were hurting this weekend too. He's been teaching me a lot of good moves, so I am always anxious for my next session. I made a mistake for today though and scheduled a session the same time Baylee has a vet appointment. Baylee always comes first, so I will have to either cancel or reschedule my session.

Did you do anything fun this weekend? Are you enjoying this great weather? -M

PS, Tonight is Disney Night on Dancing With The Stars! Do you watch?

    1. That is true. I feel like resting an stretching for over a month should have been enough to get me on the right track but the pain is persistent.

    1. 7K is such an odd distance. I thought it was only used during the April Fools race because it was different. Guess not!
