We will admit that Pinocchio Village Haus is not our favorite place to eat in Magic Kingdom. It wouldn't even make the top five. However, it is a very interesting place to visit, so let's check it out.
Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick service restaurant located in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.
It's best known for its pizza and flat breads ( two items we aren't really fond of).
We did visit recently for a Keylime pie tart ( $5.79) that we found to be very refreshing on a hot day. Although I don't enjoy the main meal items here, I do enjoy stopping here for a mid day break and here's why.
Here are three secrets you might not know about Pinocchio Village Haus.
1. There is an upstairs balcony, and yes, you can actually sit up here.
This is such a great place to relax and people watch.
You get a unique perspective of Fantasyland. The balcony is covered, so you are still out of the sun. Few people know that you can sit up here, so it is never crowded ( unlike the restaurant down below).
There is limited space to sit up here though so this little spot is better suited for parties of two.
Although there are stairs leading up to this balcony from the outside, sometimes those are roped off.
If that's the case, you need to access this by the stairs from inside the restaurant. 2. You can get a table overlooking It's a Small World boat ride!I love this aspect! The only other restaurant where you can dine and over look a boat ride is The Garden Grill over in Epcot.
There are a few tables that are up against a big glass window that looks out over the loading station of It's a Small World. You get to wave to passengers just as their boat floats into the world! At some tables you will find signs that you can hold up for the passengers to see. You may even get some people to wave back to you.
3. There is a wish book.
There are pages in this book where people have wrote a wish. You can add yours to this book.
This was mine.
I have been here before looking for this wish book. (It's tucked in the corner of one of the dinning rooms, the middle one I believe), and it did not have any paper in it to write in. Perhaps it was filled up for the day and they took it away. This day I was happy to see it was still there!
