Holiday Gifts they'll want more of...Gift Guide

We apologize for not having a post up last week, but hopefully you enjoy this one and it makes up for it!

At some point in your life, the people you need to buy holiday gifts for get to an age where they really don't "need" anything and just giving stuff to give "stuff" is pointless. I've felt this away for a while now and that is why I am so particular on what I give. I really like to concentrate my gift giving efforts on giving experiences like a spa day, concert and theater tickets, a fishing license ( for my husband) and other outings. I've done this for some people on my list for several years but to be honest, there aren't a lot of "experiences" going on right now. Heck, some of the gifts that I gave last year, still have not been "experienced"  thanks to COVID.  Although my husband DID get to use his fishing license, so that will be another gift I will give again!

So this year, I'll try to focus on consumables, and practical things things I know people will love.

First on my list is for the peanut butter lover!

I am so excited to give these gourmet peanut butters because I know the receiver will share them with me!  This Holiday collection includes the flavors Pumpkin Spice, Totally Toffee, Joyful Cranberries, Irresistible Pretzel, Cozy Cocoa , and Pecan Pie.   You can find this Collection HERE.

Here is another collection that includes Cinnamon sugar cookie and Peppermint brownie. You can find that one HERE.    Both of these gifts are from QVC and include FREE SHIPPING!  You could even break up the set and give them each as a gift or stocking stuffer!

This next gift is a STEAL!

Beekman 1802 are all natural premium Goat Milk Products that are a crowd favorite!  I say this is a steal because if you were to purchase all these products separately it would cost $163. This gift collection is less than $50 on QVC.

This collection comes in  a nice gift box and comes in scented or non scented. It is perfect for those with sensitive skin. I actually bought this gift box ( but it was a tin) last year for my mom and it cost much more, so believe me when I say this is a great deal! You can find this gift HERE.

Who doesn't love Cabin Socks?

These are the original Muk Luk socks with Jojoba oil infused faux shearling lining and non slip sole.  The best part is that they come in a pack of five!  Every year we end up buying cabin socks from a  big box sporting goods store and they are at least $12 a piece. If you bought  tall these separately these Muk Luks would be $85  but on QVC they are about $7 a piece.

They come in a variety of colors and each has a gift tag for gift giving!  You can find more colors HERE.

This next gift is just genius!

Bag hooks for the back of your car seat ( or for the front)!  These are perfect for someone who has children ( or dogs) sitting in their back seat and doesn't want to put things in their trunk. I for one drive around with a jogging stroller in my trunk, so groceries have to go in the back seat. These hooks would give me so much more room.  You can also, flip this to the front side of your seat and hang things like your purse.

They come in a variety of colors, so you might be able to find one that matches your car's interior or
exterior. At QVC they come in a pack of 4, so you can give them all as a set or break them up and make them a stocking stuffer for several people.  You can get them HERE.

This next item is not from QVC, but it is one of my favorites! EVERYONE should have one!

It is a USB wall adapter! Plug it in to your standard wall outlet and it gives you 3 regular plugs and 4 USB plugs!   I received this as a gift several years back and I loved it so much that I've bought it as a gift for two other people!  With more people working and schooling from home, I'm sure more devices need to be charged!

I admit you can get cheaper versions of this, but believe me, spend the extra dollar or two and get this one that has the pull out slides for your phone.  You'll thank me later!  I also use the pull out slides to hold my Garmin and ipod while charging.  You can get that HERE.

And I can't forget to add gifts for all my teacher friends. Teachers love giving treats in their classrooms and these boxes of individually wrapped Tootsie Pops, Swedish Fish & Sour Patch Kids, and Gummi Bears will be sure to be a hit!

What is a practical gift you would suggest giving this year?  -M

  2. These are all great gifts -- thanks so much for sharing!

When we went on our anniversary daytrip a few weeks back, we ate literally almost next door to the Beekman 1802 store. I didn't go in, though. I agree that most of us really don't need more stuff, but everyone needs cozy socks & flaovred peanut butters. :)

  9. This is a tough season to buy gifts. I used to love movie tickets and Starbucks and restaurant gift cards. But who knows when I will use them??

That outlet is great. Food is always a good idea esp now that we stay home more.
