Fall Favorites

This fall has actually been going well for me.  I've been lucky enough to have the retrievers to keep me busy and we had fun picking out pumpkins, going to fall festivals, and just  hanging out!  The first half  of the season I was training for the Hershey Half Marathon and since then till now I've been  enjoying other things.
 Including some of these favorites:

These earring from O Necklace

These are actually my initials!  If you know me in real life, you probably know that I am so predictable with my jewelry. Every day I wear my Tiffany and Co. loving heart necklace and my Silpada stud earrings! Only on occasion do I change it up.  Well, I am totally in love with these earrings and have been wearing them a lot this season. I've gotten so many compliments on them too. I don't usually wear large earrings because of the weight ( don't want them pulling on my ears), but these hardly weigh a thing. I don't even remember I'm wearing them.  You would think that because they are so light weight that they might be cheaply made but they are not. They are actually Sterling Silver.  They also come in rose gold and 24 karat gold plated.  If you are looking for a great holiday gift I would highly suggest checking out O' Necklace because they have a lot of monogrammed and personalized jewelry ( think: the Carrie Necklace from SATC). I've found a few other things I'd like to have!

I've also been enjoying  some yoga and Zumba this fall!  I've gone to quite a few  Zumba classes at the gym where my sister teaches. I enjoy it, but I'm not very good at it.  When I was in high school I worked at a Senior Center and one of their activities use to be chair yoga. There are days that I think I would be more suited for that activity instead!

Tis the season for all the warm drinks! I will admit that I have not even been to Starbucks at all this fall. I've been making my PSL at home and even better than that, I've been making this Vanilla Caramel Latte from Maxwell House. Maxwell House...that sounds like something a grandma would drink...lol. But it is tasty and I've been loving it. Even better when I can take it "to go" in these  disposable, Chinet Comfort insulated cups! ( Available at Walmart)

What have you been enjoying this fall!   Next up...ALL the HOLIDAY things!   -M

* The earrings and coffee cups were given to me for review purposes.

  1. Oh, those earrings!!!!! They are so unique ;-) I've seen a site on Facebook that utilizes your initials to make jewelry pendants that look like monograms, but have a really abstract, kind of art deco-type of look.

  2. I too am very predictable with my jewelry! It's fun to break out of the mold, isn't it? And you are way too young to do chair yoga!

  3. my grandma DID enjoy maxwell house! haha! though she'd probably balk at chair yoga (or ANY type of exercise at all)

i love those earrings - I'm also SUPER predictable with my silver hoops but have so many other pairs of earrings! I'm trying to vary what I wear these days (that said I put my hoops in again this morning...haha!)

I'm enjoying the weather this fall so far! with the exception of a few days it's been dry and that's a good thing! It does get dark early though. You can't have it all.

I'm also enjoying making soup again and my husband recently made his (Scott Jurek's actually) Minnesota Winter Chilli recently. I'm a sucker for warm, comfort food!

    1. The Maxwell house is quite tasty! I've never heard of Minnesota winter Chile. I like making soup so I'll have to look that one up.

  4. I never go to Starbucks! Although I was suggested we should so we could get Lola a puppicino for her birthday. :)

I actually don't wear a lot of jewelry on a daily basis, since fitness is such a big part of my day (and I mostly don't like jewelry on), but I change it up all the time. I like variety in all walks of life. Those earrings are lovely!

    1. Actually you can get a pupicino any time, it doesnt have to be their birthday. But really, all it is is whip cream.

  7. So how does that Maxwell House coffee work??? - is it like instant coffee or you add it in a pod? I need to know more :)
I am a Southern girl through & through because I LOVE anything monogrammed!!!

  8. I love monogrammed stuff too.

You just take two tablespoons of the Maxwell house and add water. Is that considered instant coffee? It's considered Latte, but it's sort of like hot chocolate because it is a bit sweet, but not as thick.
