Weekly Wrap, October 21 ...I've been All Over!

This past week was pretty eventful so this post will be very picture heavy!

During my overnight in Ontario, CA I went for a short run and then I shopped until I dropped. We stay right next to an outlet mall.

Later that night I experienced my first In-N-out Burger before taking the red eye to Orlando.

Instead of going to sleep when I arrived, I went straight to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot for the day!

The following day we had a full day of flying then I met a friend in Philly who was in town for a few days.

That evening we had sushi at Morinotos.

After dinner we went to the Eastern State Penitentiary Haunted House. When we arrived we had to first sign waivers. After that we had a choice to put glow stick around our neck which meant we were giving them permission to touch us and/or separate us from our group.  Needless to say we did not put one on. But maybe we should have because neither one of is thought the experience was too scary.

The next morning we went to Brunch at Sabrina's and I got this tasty Tex Mex dish.

Then I played a tourist in my town and went to the Iconic Rocky stairs and visited the Art Museum.

That night I had my company work party aboard the Philadelphia Yacht club.

It was nice meeting fellow employees who I never flew with before. It was a fun event and I even won two confirmed seats with hotel included during a raffle. I wonder where I should go?

The following morning we went to brunch and I splurged on these chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes and they did not disappoint. I ate the whole thing!

I added an Oreo latte. I definitely had my fill of sugar for the day.

That's it for my week, a short run and lots of fun!  -L

Thank You to Holly and Wendy for letting us share our week with them!

  1. Wow, you have been all over this past week!

How did you like In-N-Out burger? I've only had it once in my life (when i went to California) and it was so good!

  2. That Johnny Cash song "I've Been Everywhere" is now going through my head. Of course, I did hear it being sung this weekend while we were in Nashville. Love all the traveling you're getting to do.

  3. You really have been all over the place! Hopefully you enjoyed your adventures and aren't too tired. The pancakes and latte look like they were well worth all the sugar!

  4. Talk about having a jet-setting life! It sounds like you are enjoying every minute of it too. I am a total wimp when it comes to those haunted house type venues. I sat out the last time our family went to a haunted farm. Thanks for linking!

    1. I was a little disappointed in the Haunted House. I thought it would be a lot scarier.

    1. It wasn't too bad. It probably would have been scarier if they did.

  6. A haunted house at a penitentiary? That sounds a little scary (with or without the glow sticks) LOL

  10. What a week! Was it chilly on the boat? Do you believe in ghosts? Perhaps the Eastern State Penitentiary would be more fun if you did? (I do not believe in ghosts so I am not judging either way!! I can just see how it would be more scary and fun if maybe you believed in that kind of stuff.) So out of all the places you have traveled through your work, where would you choose to spend a SOLID WEEK at if you could?

    1. I don't believe in ghosts so maybe that is why I didn't feel like it was scary. There are so many great places I have been lately, but I try to make the most of all the places I go to in the short amount of time while I am there, that I would rather spend a week somewhere where I have never been to.

    1. So much good food! I try to pack for the most part so I am not spending money on food, but when you go certain places you don't want to miss out on trying new foods.
