Cigna #Runtogether Meet-up

This past weekend I was invited to a blogger meet up hosted by Cigna. It was an opportunity to connect with other running and healthy living bloggers during Disney's Marathon Weekend!

 My sister and I
have gotten invited to this in the past and I was looking forward to being a part of it again this year. It just so happened that I had an Orlando overnight the day the event was taking place...perfect timing!

This time the event was being held inside test track at Epcot! We got in through the back lot after waiting at security for several minutes because they said we were not on the list!

The area that the event was being held had the perfect view of the Epcot ball. You could even look below and see the cars from test track going by.

Cigna was generous enough to give us all goody bags and among the goodies was a Disney Gift card!  Thanks Cigna!

They had a large spread of food for us for lunch. After lunch we divided into teams from the numbers that were on our name tag and played a few games.

The first game was a trivia game of statistics and facts about Cigna. We actually tied with another team on answering questions so we got our first choice of what vegetable we wanted.

The vegetables were the next task. Sticking with the "Test Track" theme, we had to make a car out of vegetables in hopes that it could make it down the track first! We also had a box with wheels, toothpicks, knives, etc. to help assemble our car. In addition we had to make a poster and do a pitch on a theme that was given to us. It was very interactive. And our car came in 2nd!

After all of the cars raced, dessert was brought out and we had a great photo OP with Mickey and Minnie (in there race car gear of course)!

It was a fun afternoon and it was so nice to connect with fellow bloggers! -L

Thank you to Wendy and Holly for letting us link up for their Weekly Wrap!

  6. Sounds fun! The vegetable cars reminds me of the pinewood derbies our son participated in during his early years of Scouts.
