We've got the Scoop on Salt & Straw Ice Cream at Disney

Salt & Straw is an Ice Cream shop in Disney Springs that has unique flavors of ice cream. Does chocolate potato salad ice cream sound good to you?

Other unique ice cream flavors include Cinnamon and Honey Fried Chicken,  and Rose` Watermelon

Salt & Straw originated in California and a few years ago one opened up in Disney Springs. It is at the far end of the Springs ( not the Market Place side).

This location is pretty small and really is only for ordering. Do not plan on sitting at a table. We visited fairly early in the day ( before 11:00 am) so we were the only patrons in there at the time. The employee was very happy to describe the unique flavors to us and allowed us to have a sample of any flavor we'd like.

We did sample a few and the employee said we could have more, but we didn't want to take advantage of her kindness.

In the end, we decided on the Baked Bri and Fig Cheesecake.

My sister and I shared this but I only took a few bites because I wanted to get a different treat somewhere else. I do remember it being very creamy and the flavors blended nicely together.  My sister enjoyed it but would like to try a different flavor next time.

A few other unique flavors to us were:
Arbequina Olive Oil
Strawberry Balsamic with Black Pepper
The Salty Donut Guava & Cheese

If you are not feeling adventurous enough to try a unique flavor combination, Salt & Straw also offers some more classic flavors.

Some other flavors at the time of our visit included:
Sea Salt w/ Caramel Ribbon
Double Fold Vanilla
Chocolate Gooey Brownie
Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Cinnamon Snickerdoodle
Freckled Mint Chocolate Chip
Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge
Roasted Pineapple Coconut Sherbet
