Staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is always a treat! We visit this resort often but I haven't stayed overnight here since the week of my first wedding anniversary,  and that was a long time ago.  A lot has changed since then.

Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs

                                         

Last week I had a casual day at Disney Springs. I was there around lunch time, so I decided to go to lunch at Frontera Cocina. Frontera Cocina is the Mexican Restaurant at Disney Springs.

One of our favorite places to visit at Disney Springs is Swirls on the Water.  Swirls on the Water is a booth that sells Dole Whips and other ice cream concoctions. One of the things we enjoy about this place is that the feature flavors are always changing based upon the season

Have you seen all these hidden Mickey's in Disney's Soarin attraction at Epcot?

Soarin is my favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World! I've rode it hundreds of times and yet I just recently found out that there are hidden Mickeys in some of the scenes. I've only ever been quick enough to notice the one in the Epcot scene when the fireworks are going off behind Spaceship Earth. I did a little research and here is what I found out about where the hidden Mickey's are located.

One of my favorite rides in all of Walt Disney World is Soarin.  No let me rephrase that to it IS my favorite ride. I rode it originally in 2005 when it opened as Soarin Over California. I remember How I loved the smell of the orange groves, the ocean breeze, and even the pine scent in the forest. 

In 2016 Soarin Over California was re-imagined into Soarin Around the World.  I loved it, but I missed some of those previous scents!

Our first visit to Le Cellier in Disney's Epcot

 

Did you know that the Canada pavilion in Disney's Epcot is the only country that does not have a quick service dining location. It does have a popcorn and coffee cart and it does have the Northern Bloom booth that comes out during the festivals, but there is not a place to consistently sit down and have a quick meal.

Our Evening at Magic Kingdom

  Most times when we visit Magic Kingdom, we go later in the day. We notice the mornings are so crowded and by late afternoon or early evening crowds start to thin out and lines are a bit shorter.

This time we arrived at Magic Kingdom a little before 6:00 pm. Here is how we spent our time.
