Our last dinner on the Disney Wish was in the Arendelle Dinning Room. We thought this dinning room had the best theming. Even the entrance was something to take notice to. Let's check it out.
As we walked down the hallway to the dining room, the walls were covered in portraits from the "Frozen" characters.

Even the wallpaper had a Scandanavian vibe to it.
Once everyone was seated, the main lights went dim and some stage lights came on. This made it a bit difficult to take really good photos, so I apologize.
The desserts at this restaurant were our favorites!
The dining room resembled a royal banquet hall. It was sort of reminiscent of "Cinderella's Royal Table" at Magic Kingdom.

I didn't do a lot of research on this restaurant ahead of time so I did not know what the layout of the restaurant would be. We were pleasantly surprised when we were seated right in front of the stage
This was our "Royal Menu".
I did not have an appetizer here, but my sister said these were both good. Instead of getting an appetizer for myself, I selected an extra soup and salad option.
( I really did not have to pick one or the other, the server would have brought me as much of any item I'd like)
I generally enjoy carrot soup. Most of the ones I've have were a bit sweet. However, this one tastes more like a Tomato bisque and I am not a fan of Tomato soup, so this one was not a winner for me. What was a winner though was this Nordic cucumber, potato, & carrot salad. This was so good and it reminded me of a German potato salad my Nana use to make. This is a cold dish and has a bit of a tangy flavor.
The entrees were good. I ordered the meatballs with noodles which is the ultimate in comfort food.
My favorite dessert, without a doubt was the Buttercake! This was my favorite item I ate on the entire cruise! I enjoyed it so much that I've made the recipe at home several times since our cruise. The cake was a very moist, sweet cake with a dusting of powder sugar, cream, and berries!
During dinner we had a great stage show with the characters from Arendelle Even Olaf made an appearance.
We were really lucky that we were seated right next to the stage, but even if we wouldn't have been able to see what was going on, we were still entertained by the music.
At one point the characters came off the stage and into the dinning room to interact and dance with the guests. Also, some of the characters even came around to each table to talk and take photos. We thought that was a nice, unexpected touch.
We later found out that the characters do not come around to all the tables ( it's not like a character meal at the park).
Since Arendale was the dinning room we ate in on our last night of the cruise, it was the dinning room we were assigned to for breakfast on embarkation day.
We got to order off the menu here for breakfast items just like we did the night before for dinner.
Both were very good. The breakfast menu here is a bit more limited than the dinner menu but everyone should be able to find something to suit them. You can also just order cold cereals.
Of course there are not characters here. There is no music or shows going on. This was the only time we actually went to any of the dining rooms for breakfast. We usually went to Marceline Market ( which is the food court style eatery), but I do not think that place was open on debarkation day.
This was our favorite of all the Disney restaurants on the Disney Wish cruise ship because of the good food and good atmosphere!
Till next time ~M
