As we approach "Star Wars day", aka, May the Fourth, we thought we would share where to get the best Star Wars photo ops in Disney World.
As of this post, the only park together Star Wars photos is Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Our first suggestion is to start off at the Star Wars Launch Bay. This building is located in Animation Court Yard ( Not Galaxy's Edge).
At Star Wars Launch Bay you usually have the opportunity to meet two Star Wars Characters.
They usually rotate between Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and BB-8.
This day we had a great interaction with Chewbacca.
There were two different characters available for all the other guests. So if you are a Disney Visa Card Holder, you have the opportunity to meet three characters.
Disney Tip: Be sure to check the hours for the Disney Visa card holder photo op. Generally this photo op has been from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Also in the Launch Bay, outside of the character lines, are some fun props you can pose with, like this fun Light Saber. There is a photo pass person at this location so when the photo pass person is not here, I doubt the light Saber would be here!,
For not being Star Wars fans, we had fun spending time at the Launch Bay.
Now for the true Star Wars fan, you'll want to make your way to Galaxy's edge so you can take photos of all the things.
You may see a character or two wandering around and be sure to catch a photo pass photographer to get some magic shots. I bet they'll have some special ones for May the Fourth!
