Currently...Fall Edition and Runfessions

Oh my Gosh, we are wrapping up on October, how is that even happening?  With everything going on, I've remained positive and am going to be thankful for what October has brought me. So here are some Current  Fall Confessions/Runfession from October....

I'm also going to play along with Marcia for her October Runfessions!

I USE to LOVE these running products, Now not so much.

Can you remember back to each time you got a new running gadget or piece of gear?  You probably thought that foam roller was the greatest thing since sliced bread and you wouldn't be caught leaving the house without your Garmin.

I am still fond of my foam roller and I always take my Garmin on my runs ( unless I forgot to charge it the night before), but I will now admit there are a few items I thought were ALL THAT, that honestly, I could care less about now.

Our Time at Wild Fire Ranch

Last weekend my friend and I visited Wild Fire Ranch and Spiritual Retreat.

We signed up for their two hour trail ride called “Mystic Mountain”.  They have trail rides of all different distances and some where you even get off your horse to picnic before returning back on the trail.

Fall Fall Favorites Prompt - Play along!

This is an oldie but a goodie! I found this Fall Fun prompts a few years ago from my friend  Rebecca Jo and thought I would do an updated version!

6 Hikes to take in Central PA

We've talked multiple times on the blog about all the hikes we've done over the summer. Although we hope to do a few more this fall, we thought we would at least make  a comprehensive list of the ones we've done so far, and review them.

The Summer Six

Visiting a camel farm was something new I did this summer!

As many people carried on with their summer vacations, I just couldn't.  I couldn't ignore the fact that we were  in a pandemic or the fact that there was a possibility of violence occurring at a moments notice in any given city ( or small town). Because of this, I chose to be cautious and stay close to home this summer. Which let's face it, if there was ever a time for me to stay close to home, it was this summer. The new puppies really absorbed most of my attention anyway and the fact that I didn't get to go on a vacation, really didn't seem that important.

Banana Cream Pie

This is my last of the summer pie recipes, Banana Cream Pie.

I've been buying a lot of bananas this summer because they make a great treat for the puppies. I usually cut them up, freeze them, and then put them in the food processor to make banana ice cream.  I add some peanut butter to that and Sybie and Willow go crazy!
