I always like experimenting with putting different ingredients in refrigerated crescent rolls and I think this one was one of my best recipes!
I had some left over ingredients from a pizza I had made the night before, so I used them along with some scrambled eggs I had made specifically for this recipe.
I could probably update my baking stone, don't you think? I'm thinking of getting this one from Amazon.
After rolling out my crescent dough, I layered it with the scrambled eggs that I had just made, and then the leftover onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and cheese that I had left over from making the pizza. Because I stuffed them so full, it was a challenge to roll them up tight.
Bake them on the middle rack at 375 for 10-12 minutes (depending on your oven).
Enjoy! See how simple that was? What is your favorite crescent roll recipe? -M
This is a great idea! I don't think I've ever stuffed my crescent rolls with anything before. This seems super easy!
ReplyDeleteI love stuffing crescent rolls!
DeleteThat's a great idea! I sometimes stuff shredded cold cuts and cheese in mine. I also stuff them so full they're almost impossible to roll up, too LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha, Yes, I've stuffed them too full sometimes too.
DeleteThose look delicious. I love crescent rolls!
ReplyDeleteCrescent rolls are so versatile!
DeleteThis looks so good! I'm going to try this!
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you like them!
DeleteMy pizza stone looks a lot like yours. It lives in our upper oven (we have a double oven). I have no plans to replace it! It's like cast iron (which is almost all I cook in these days) -- just gets better with age. :)
ReplyDeleteThose look yummy & a nice, creative use for the rolls.
I actually had a round pizza stone too ( from Pampered Chef) and one day it just cracked right in half while it was in my oven!
DeleteThis is so creative and they look super yummy too!
ReplyDeleteThey were yummy!
