It's that time of year again where we share our Race Scrapbook! I actually wasn't going to make one this year because 1) I haven't run many races and 2) It's time consuming and puppy chasing has taken up most of my time lately. However, since it is a tradition I've started since we started blogging and my sister had a really good year of running, I thought it was something I must do. Although my running decreased drastically this year, I was happy that I met my goal of running one race per season. I got one Spring race, one Summer race, one Fall race, and one Winter race (even if they were only fun runs)!
How do you document your races each year? -M
I love the idea of making a race scrapbook and yours is so pretty! I see some races in Mifflinburg. I am running one there tomorrow! A trail race in RB Winter State Park. Is that your home?
ReplyDeleteGoodluck! That is fairly close. About 20 miles away.
DeleteGreat idea for a scrapbook! It's always fun to relive those memories :-)
ReplyDeleteYou both had a great year of running. Chasing that puppy counts too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! The puppy is very energetic!
DeleteI love your scrapbook and the way you put collages together. Have you ever done something with the photos? They would make a fun calendar — I make calendars on Snapfish every year with a series of running pics, or vacay pics, etc.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! We have made calendars before of the dogs and family but never races.
DeleteThis is a great way to document your races! I don't really have anything I do other than the usual blog recap.
ReplyDeleteWell that could be a New Year's resolution:)
DeleteWow. What a super year. What will you do for an encore in 2020?
ReplyDeleteGlad to have been part of your 2019. Love the pic of you at the top of the Vessel.
That definitely was a highlight of my year! So fun meeting up with you. As of right now I am only doing one spring and one fall marathon, but that can always change:)
DeleteSo many fun races and places visited in 2019!
ReplyDeleteHope to add to that in 2020:)
Deleteamazing recap of races this year! I want to do something like this again for my running year - really celebrate that I'm back at it and not going to get sidelined again for hopefully a long time!
ReplyDeleteYes you should. A great way to reflect on your accomplishments.
ReplyDeleteI love these posts and I'm glad to see all of the fun miles that you guys had. I did a quarterly running recap on my blog and year end summary, too. I love to look back on it!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea of a scrapbook - such a fun way to look back on an amazing year of running! I may have to borrow this idea for next year ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, you ran some pretty fun races this year! Lots of fun photos! I love the scrapbook idea for putting together all of these memories!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing year of races! As I train for the Portland marathon, I've been having fun documenting my training runs with my pup on instagram haha it's the little things ;)
