This is the Disney Wedding Pavilion where our ceremony took place.
Cinderella's Glass Coach was our transportation for the day.
Of course no Disney wedding is complete without Cinderella's Footman delivering the rings!
Inside the wedding pavilion.
After the ceremony we were able to utilize the beach area for pictures. Unfortunately since the construction of the Grand Floridian Villas I'm not sure how much of this beach is left.
Disney's Wedding Pavilion holds a very special place in my heart and I try to get a glimpse of it during every trip.
Is there one special place at Disney that holds a special memory for you?
Thanks again to Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting another Wordless Wednesday.
Love these Meranda. You look stunning!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteGorgeous! You look beautiful! I want to get married now just for the sake of having a Disney wedding ;)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely GORGEOUS photos! You look beautiful in your wedding dress!! :0) My husband and I really want to do a vow renewal at Disney some day.... maybe for our 5 or 10 year anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea Lauren!
DeleteLOVE IT!!! We were so close to having our wedding at Disney and every time I see pictures I have a slight mix of regret! Growing up we always stayed at the Yacht and Beach, so this resorts holds a special place in my heart! But their are so many other special memories as well!
ReplyDeleteAs you probably know, The Yacht Club has a Garden gazebo where they perform wedding ceremonies! Maybe you could do a Disney Vow Renewal there someday!
DeleteBeautiful, we've gotten to see at weddings @ The Wilderness Lodge and @ The Beach Club, but never at the Grand Floridian. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be a guest at a Disney wedding!
DeleteGAH! My weakness! Disney Fairy Tale Wedding photos! You are every bit a Princess here. So jealous of your beach photos! There isn't much left of the beach. By the time we had our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, they had started to demolish the beach. It was blocked off and there was a huge partition wall and shrubbery along the walkway into the Pavilion. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/20195898298875426/
ReplyDeleteAWW, Thank you so much for sharing your link! Your photos are gorgeous! I had to laugh when I saw your isle runner and those bracelets! ( All Disney Groom's idea I suspect?)
DeleteThat's awesome that you got to have a Disney Wedding, complete with the coach! The photos are beautiful. As far as a special Disney memory for me, Mike and I went there for an anniversary trip and had an amazing dinner at Victoria and Albert's, so I would have to go with that.
ReplyDeleteWow, that would be a special memory! I hear V&A is amazing!
DeleteSo very sweet! Love these pictures!! Who was your photographer?
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen. We used a Disney Photographer. I believe her name was Amy.
DeleteThis is beautiful! The Polynesian is very special to us, as we honeymooned there! Thanks for sharing your pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to check out the Polynesian next week! Too bad Sunset point is no longer there :(
DeleteWow, so gorgeous!! I haven't been to Disney in such a long time, but I can't wait to bring our son once he is old enough to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteYour family will have a blast once your son is old enough!
DeleteOur 20th anniversary is next year & I want to go there for a vow renewal!!!
ReplyDelete!!! Your pictures are just beauuutiful!!! I dream of that Glass Coach, but I don't think a Disney wedding would be doable for us. Who knows though :)
ReplyDeleteYa never know! The hardest part is getting all your guests there!
DeleteYour photos are gorgeous, Meranda. My sister in law is getting married in May and considered having her wedding at Disney. I know her wedding is going to be a great event, but deep down I wish she would have pulled the trigger on the Disney wedding so that I could experience all the magic of a wedding there!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she will do a Disney Vow Renewal in a few years and invite you all down for it!
DeleteOh my goodness, how beautiful!!!! We got married on a beach here in Nova Scotia. It was also beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteWow you are stunning! I love the idea of a Disney wedding, someday...
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful and precious wedding photos! What a gorgeous Disney wedding. Now, I want a Disney vow renewal. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteAww you were such a beautiful bride! Such a cute wedding!
