Why it's worth a stop at Everything Pop at Disney's Pop Century Resort

The quick service food location at Disney's Pop Century Resort is called Everything Pop. For being a value resort quick service, it certainly delivered an exceptional experience.

We recently stayed at Pop Century for a few days and the first place we visited when we arrived was the Everything Pop food court. ( You can read more about our stay at Pop Century HERE).

The first thing that caught my eye as we entered the food court was this area here, that seemed to be separate from the rest of the food court. It was almost like a little bakery or coffee counter. It was selling specialty drinks as well as bakery items.

I immediately saw some things that caught my eye and committed to returning later for something.

Around the corner, you can purchase specialty coffees, draft beers, cocktails, and milkshakes.

The main part of the restaurant is set up like all the other quick service locations with multiple stations to choose from.

We got in line for the hot sandwiches, but we noticed that not all of the stations were open for lunch time, but they were for dinner time.

There is also plenty of prepackaged foods and a cooler section with pre-made salads, sandwiches, and other quick grabs!

After selecting and paying for our food, we took it to the main dining room to eat.  Don't you just love how colorful this dining room is?

pulled pork sandwich

I got this pulled pork sandwich that came with fries, and it was very tasty. I usually always get a pulled pork sandwich somewhere on Disney property and they are always very good. It had more of a sweet barbecue sauce on it, not a smokey one.

Lacey got the Street corn fries and the Gouda Vibes Burger which she really enjoyed as well. Lacey rarely orders a burger when we go to restaurants and for her to say this was really good, it must have been a very good burger.

Before leaving the restaurant, I noticed these really cute Mickey shaped windows. I have not noticed these at other quick service restaurants so I wonder if they are unique to Pop Century?

Since Lacey's outfit matched the decor, I asked if I could take her photo in front of these cute windows.

After eating lunch here, we headed to the water park and had planned to eat dinner at a near by resort when we returned. Well by the time we returned, we were too tired to leave the resort, so we decided to go back to Everything Pop to get dinner and that did not disappoint either one of us.

This time, one of the stations that were closed for lunch, opened up for dinner. This station had a lot of stir fry type options.  You got to pick one protein and 2 additional sides.  chose the stir fried shrimp with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I know the mashed potatoes was an odd choice to get with shrimp as rice probably would have been the most obvious chose, but I was just feeling mashed potatoes that evening.

Lacey got the Adobe Chicken nacho bowl.  For a change of scenery, we took our dinners outside this time. There are a few tables and chairs set up just outside the restaurant, and then a few more down by the pool area.

Flashback Oatmeal cookie

And I certainly did not forget about that bakery case! I did go back and pick something from the case. I got the Flashback Oatmeal cookie. This was large enough to share. it was as sweet as you would think it would be, but it was good and worth the splurge!

Till next time ~M
