Fitness Bling

fit bit charms and accessories

You know that Fitness trackers have been all the rage lately. The most popular are those worn on the wrist like the Fitbit. You can usually identify those wearing the fitness trackers because they look as if they have a piece of rubber around their wrist. This may be a good look for working out, but may not be very appealing for people who want to wear their Fitbit while being dressed up.

My friend recently received a Fitbit for her birthday and could hardly wait to start using it. When I found out about all the fashionable accessories for Fitbits, I knew that I wanted to gift her with one of them. As I was searching for these accessories, I came across a shop on Etsy.com called Fit Glam Bling.  This particular shop sells little charms that can be connected to the Fitbit. These charms are a great way to jazz up an other-wise rather plain looking piece of rubber and turn it into something fashionable.

The Fitbit charms are basically pendants that have a small piece of flexible rubber on the back of it. This lets the charm slip easily over the Fitbit and still hold it securely in place.  These charms come in all different shapes and sizes. You can get a small charm if you just want to add a little decorative accent to your fitness tracker, or you can really bling it out and get a larger one turning your fitness trackers into a statement piece of Jewelry.  For my friend, I picked out a medium sized pendant (a flower shape) with turquoise stones in the middle. Yes, I know that the photo above does not show a turquoise stone. That is not the actual picture of the pendant that I purchased for her.

The one thing I really liked about Fit Glam Bling is that all her pendants mimic actual jewelry. You will find pendants that are gold and silver tones, ones with gem stones, and ones with other decorative stones.  When placed over top a fitness tracker, they are all pleasing to the eye and add a little extra element of fun. The charms from Fit Glam Bling are very reasonably priced and range from $3.75 to $14.99. Price is determined by the size of the charm and the materials used to make it.

I am so enamored by these beautiful accessories. The thought that you can interchange them on your fitness tracker makes me want to go buy a Fit bit just so I can put charms on it. -M

Do you have a fitness tracker? Do you bling it out?

  1. The bling for Fit Bits are such a cute idea! I do not have a fitness tracker but I do love wearing bracelets, so if I had a Fit Bit I am pretty sure I'd buy a bling or two!

  2. So pretty! I'm going to have to take a look at this. I love my fitbit but I don't love the way it looks when I'm dressed up to go out. I don't mind for work or normal every day attire, but it would be nice to be able to dress it up at times.

  3. I love my Fitbit but I wouldn't say my bracelet is blingy...ok maybe a little. A high school friend's sister started a line of Fitbit bracelets. Their business is called Bezels and Bytes and they are gorgeous bracelets! They're now sold at Bloomingdales and several high end boutiques in San Fran. Really impressive! I have a simple black leather one with a gold case for the tracker. I also love that the price point is really affordable, as compared to the pricey designer ones (rhymes with Rory Turch...)

  4. I keep seeing more & more of these. I don't mind just the black plain band :) I'm a simple girl apparently. :) But it would be nice for dressy occasions

    1. You should get one of the charms and see how you like it. You can get small ones and ones that don't cost much. That way if you don't like it you're not out much!

    1. Hmm, i'm not really sure about that one. My husband has a surge and I know how large they are. That would have to be a pretty big charm!

  6. These are so cute! I love my fibiit, but I clip it to my bra. I wish my sister wore hers on her wrist, I would totally get her this for christmas. She puts it on her ankle so it counts her steps as she pushes a stroller:) Hmmm maybe I should get it for her anyway, ankle braclets used to be in style, maybe she can bring them back:)
I have to say though, these are beyond cute, if I owned the wrist Fitbit this would totally be great bling, the prices are awesome too!

    1. How difficult is it to convert yours to a bracelet style? I'm not really familiar with the clip ones.
