Run or Rest with your Valentine!

Are you someone's Valentine this year? Do you like the traditional gifts of flowers and candy? I'm a candy gal for sure so that is one of my "go to" little treats on Valentines day. It's actually the gift I love to hate, or is it the gift I hate to love?   Anyway, if you do not share in my loves of all things candy, you may prefer little treats like the ones below.

With the exception of the running skirt from Rock City Skirts, all these items came from Gone For A Run. I'm loving the Candy heart T-shirt.  Hmm, a shirt with Candy on it!  If I was confident that I would be at the finish line of my next race, I would get that ( All joking a side, I WILL get to the finish line). Those shirts come in a few other colors and sayings too.  The 13.1 heart in the corner is actually a shoe charm. Every runner needs a shoe charm!

Since I am currently a Runner at rest, perhaps these goodies would be more suitable.

I think those candy heart compression socks are just adorable  (there I go again with the candy)!

Do you exchange Valentines gifts with anyone? If so what types of gifts do you deem suitable for Valentines day?

  10. I give my boys Valentines gifts. Always candy and a gift card. When they were little, it used to be a book. Sigh.

  11. I love the candy heart compression socks!! I really need those.
I wish my husband would get me candy for Vday, but he knows I'm always dieting or trying to lose weight, so he never gets me anything like that. And i don't want to ask him to. I like the idea of just buying it for yourself though! :)

  12. Is that a ring or a bracelet? Either way, it's very cute. I usually give candy but don't want to receive it.

  13. So fun, and I love pink which makes these even more desirable!!!
So I don't celebrate Valentines, and it's not just because I am currently single. I have this weird thing, I have like the worst luck on the day, I remember it started clear back in the 5th grade with the chicken pox, and I may have been the only girl in Jr. High to get sent flowers but have them delivered to the wrong person (in other words I never got them, LOL) I've been dumped on the day, I've caught Pnemonia twice on the day, bronchitis 3 times. I even pulled an injury once at work on the day.. Yup I am cursed and because I believe it now I swear that is why bad things keep happening to me on the day, LOL I do laugh about it though, however I won't lie I probably won't even go out much on the day, well maybe a run, but that 's it, LOL Maybe I should just buy me something running and pink, LOL LOL
